having just returned from stintino i wanted to share with others the beauty of the area. Although it was late october it was hot enough to enjoy the beach, and what a beach it is at La Pelosa. The sea is crystal clear, shallow and a stunning turquoise colour. we stayed at villa daphne (www.villadaphne.com) which was peaceful an in an idyllic setting. the journey from Alghero airport was an easy 30 minute drive, evidently there is a new road that has just opened between Porto Torres and Stintino which led to such a short journey time. I could not recommend this area highly enough.
